Claire Nolan

Claire Nolan is a New York based actress best known for her involvement in the arts in Upstate NY. She most recently performed the role of “Fabia” in Shakespeare’s TWELFTH NIGHT with Glimmerglobe Theatre in Cooperstown, NY. Prior roles include “Curley’s Wife” in Tri-Town Theatre’s OF MICE AND MEN, “Marian” in THE MUSIC MAN, also with Tri-Town Theatre, and “Percy” in THE SPITFIRE GRILL, with Out of the Woodwork Players.

She also has appeared at the Foothills Performing Arts Center in Oneonta NY, most recently serving as vocal director and keyboard for AMERICAN IDIOT, the musical by Green Day. Also at FPAC, she performed TWISTED, the cult-favorite comedic musical by Team Starkid. Later that year she had an original work premiered at the Foothills Fringe Festival. This 6-person experimental play, in which she directed and starred, is an educational black comedy, depicting the dangerous reality of addiction, titled WASTED YOUTH. It was well received and had great success at the festival. She continues to work on this project and has plans of developing it into a short film.

She graduated from the Setnor School of Music at Syracuse University with a B. Mus in Vocal Performance in 2021. Shortly after, she traveled to Seattle where she understudied the role of Mother in RAGTIME. Roles at SU include Cherubino in THE MARRIAGE OF FIGARO, Zdenka in ARABELLA, and understudying the role of “Lauretta” in GIANNI SCHICCHI.
